Short Biography

Mr. Daniel Wambua Musau is an award-winning agricultural economist (University of Embu Lecturer of the Year Award 2022/2023 Academic Year) and he is one of the academic staff at the School of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension. Daniel is known for his passion to assist students excel in their academic pursuit based on his understanding that knowledge transforms. Daniel has a teaching experience of 5 years and has special interest in marketing and market dynamics in the coffee sub-sector. He is currently undertaking his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in agricultural economics with particular focus on coffee value chain and is keen in generating robust research-based evidence to inform policy reforms in the sub-sector. Daniel has also published widely in peer-reviewed journals and is a team player who believes in strong and meaningful networks for social capital across cadres, professions and disciplines.

• Production economics, farm management, agricultural policy.
